As of the 31st of December, Singapore based company Elington Pte. Ltd. has completed the acquisition Epsilon Telecommunications Holdings Limited. This acquirement was made for a cash and share consideration in exchange for one hundred percent of the issued share capital in Epsilon. Elington is a one hundred percent privately owned company with a paid up share capital of SGD$ 35,814,651.50, in the coming days it will change its name to Epsilon Global Communications Pte. Ltd.
Elington views this acquisition as a vital step to execute its global strategy of becoming a leading Communications Services Provider for the Wholesale Carrier Market. With a customer base of over 260 operators, offices in London, Hong Kong and Singapore and almost 50 points of presence in all major Telecom Hub cities globally; Elington anticipates group revenues of over SGD$ 30,000,000 for the 2010 finance year with profits of approximately SGD$ 5,000,000.
Elington has appointed Andreas Hipp as Group CEO, who together with Roy Bell (Group CFO) and George Szlosarek (Group CTO) will unite all the Epsilon subsidiaries, developing and leading the group’s growth and expansion plans for the coming years. "It is essential in difficult economic times to invest in growth, people and new markets to enable better and more cost effective global communication. This is also vital to the economic recovery as globalisation takes shape and our ways of communication change. Human and business mobility require flexibility and fast network deployments to almost all parts of the world and therefore national or regional operators need global partners to support them." say Andreas Hipp.
